2021/10/28 - Start Community Building

Since the start date of our Kickstarter campaign has been confirmed and a first prototype of the SensGuitar is available for being presented, we start with the community building.
Hopefully we can attract enough attention, and create a fan basis in order to be successfull at our Kickstarter campaign.

For this, we are going to focus on the following things:

  • Creation of a teaser video that gets you to know the SensGuitar in about a minute.
  • Creation of a SensGuitar homepage
  • Creation of the Kickstarter page
  • Preparation of relevant accounts for emailing and on Github, etc.
  • Presentations and talks at makerspaces, music stores and magazines
  • Start doing advertising via Twitch sessions, Twitter posts (maybe we even activate Tiktok, Instagram, Discord, etc.)

If you have further ideas helping us to create a community being ready for Kickstarter campaign, please let us know via comments on this post.

Startup Ideas of 2021

Until now, guitars have been considered analog products that have an acoustic soul. Electric effect components are handled as add-on products that are arranged externally, which is costly and space-consuming. In addition, feedback is not provided for the guitar, as there is no possibility of visualization.

The sensitive guitar applies the complete stack of SenGit Framework components, so that it demonstrates the framework's functioning.

The SensGit Guitar brings guitar playing on the next level, the SensGit Framework provides the infrastructure required.

The harmonized bundle of SensGit Framework components perfectly enable the corresponding guitar products as follows:

  • Visualize scales at the digital fret board.
  • Record your playing right at the guitar.
  • Apply digital effect components.
  • Get feedback right as you make music.
  • Update guitar applications over-the-air.

Hardware components of this kind of prototype can be purchased at our store. Please also have a look on the corresponding kickstarter project.
Since this type of product can be reused in further MakerSpace projects, you should consider our modification service so that we can make changes according to your wishes.
